The Volleyball Royal Spanish Federation realized a well-deserved honoring to Javier Bosma in the course of the last day of European Beach Volley Championship that has been disputed in Valencia (Spain).

" Since we knew of Javier Bosma's retreat, we have wanted to honour this extraordinary player for his impressive path; we think that there would no be better chance that to do it that during the European Championship", commented the Volleball Royal Spanish Federation's president, Agustín Martin Santos.

Just before the great masculine final be disputing, the natural player from Roses (Gerona, Spain) received of Martín Santos's hands a commemorative plate, as tax to the extensive and successful career of the best beach volley player of the history of this sport in Spain.

Javier Bosma is the whole legend inside the World Beach Volley, a myth that has been established after almost 20 years of successful career, in which he won, between others, the Athens' Olympic Games' Silver Medal, two Olympic Diplomas, one European Number Two, one World Tour's round, one European Tour's round and two Spanish Championships. The native from Gerona decided to finish his career this year.
