The Zer02 rider Marina Alabau received the Prize to the best Sevillian sportswoman in the year 2006 in the XX Sport's Party, in which the Municipal Institute of Sports awards the prizes to the best sportsmen, sportwomen and organizations of the previous year.

The World Ranking Number One of Olympian Female Windsurfing was one of the 46 candidates. Marina's great sports career did not pass unnoticed for the Juror, who made a positive assesment of her results obtained in 2006.

Some of the titles conquered by Marina Alabau in this year were the World Number Two, Spanish Champion, Winner in the French Olympic Week of Hyéres, Second in the Rolex Miami OCR and the number 1 of the World Ranking that showed from March to May and that she has turned to recover in 2007.
