Zer02 played a leading role in the Rockaway Beach 06 Expo and Festival that took place in Torremolinos (Málaga, Spain) on September 8th, 9th & 10th.

The Fair was held in the Costa del Sol Exhibition & Conference Center. Organized by Glissmarket Interactive and Media Galore companies, the professional fair gathered more than 40 brands related to surf, wind, kite, wake, skate and urban lifestyles. Zer02 took advantage of the event to present their New Spring-Summer 07 Collection to the professional sector.

Due to the lack of wind at Los Álamos Beach, was the skaters who attracted the attention of those present. With the mini-ramp set up right on the beach, the skaters delighted the public with amazing jumps and tricks.

Félix Cabello, one of the event organizers, emphasized that Rockaway Beach is not only a professional appointment "but a concept, a way of understanding life, a philosophy that we want to transmit to the whole world".

For the festival, they set up a stage where groups as Barrios Bajos, Stilldawn, Maida Vale and Trifulca played, and where there were sessions played by different DJs. And finally, for the closing event, the Miss and Mister Rockaway Beach 2006 beauty contest was held, with Cristina Gonzalez, Miss Málaga 2006, as one of the judges.

"The thing is, in short, to create, definitively, the most urban beach ever known", Pablo Clavero affirmed, assuring that next year they plan to return to develop this festival concept in Torremolinos, and to establish it as national referent.
