Qingdao International Regatta, the first Beijing 2008 Olympic Test Event.

The Qingdao 2006 International Regatta, the 1st of the two test events previous to the 2008 Olympic Games, was celebrated betwin August18th and 31st in Qingdao, the host city for the 2008 Olympic Sailing Regatta in China.
In the RS:X Masculine, the Zer02 rider Iván Pastor, got improve his results in the last races of the competition, and it was approaching the top over with a 13th position, but without being able to come to the Medal Race. They were the Chinese riders those who took to themselves the first two positions of the podium: Zhennan Fang 1st and Fen He 2nd, whereas the rider from Hong Kong Kin Yin Chan who took the bronze.
In the RS:X Feminine, the Zer02 rider Marina Alabau, second of the World Ranking, has not felt comfortable in the field of Qingdao's regattas, and she was finished in 20th position: Two "out of line" made difficult that the Sevillian rider was improving in her clasification, despite of the fact that in her last race was signing 6th.
The French Merret was first, followed by the local riders Limei Sun and Jian Yin, which has might extract the best yield of his knowledge of the field of regattas.
